About HxLibraries

Heterodox Libraries (HxLibraries) is a disciplinary community of Heterodox Academy.

HxLibraries exists to promote open inquiry, viewpoint diversity, and constructive disagreement in the study and practice of library and information science (LIS).

HxLibraries hosts an online members’ forum, monthly virtual happy hours, symposia and other events; collaborates on scholarship and professional projects; and publishes Heterodoxy in the Stacks.
