Common True Katydid

Pterophylla camellifolia

Common true katydid are abundant in parks and rural areas. They are often found in tall, deciduous trees–especially oak trees. Common true katydids can range from 1.5 to 2 inches long and are characteristic by their extremely rounded wings.
