12 Publish Under an Open License or Tailor Your Copyright Information

Step 1: From your Pressbooks Dashboard, select “Book Info” in your left-hand menu.

Step 2: Scroll down to the “Copyright” section of the page. You’ll see a dropdown that allows you to set different licenses for your book.

Step 3: Click “Save.”

Now, your book will display your chosen license on the cover page of the web book and the publication information page in your exports.

The book will also provide a link that gives readers details about the license’s terms.
