Nebraska Conehead

Neoconocephalus nebrascensis

Nebraska coneheads are found in meadows and field habitats. They are more likely to be found in shrubby edges of wooded areas than Sword-bearing and Round-tipped coneheads. Nebraska coneheads are distinct from other coneheads because the cone-shaped structure on the front of their head is longer and entirely black on the underside.
