Striped Ground Cricket

Allonemobius fasciatus

Striped ground crickets are found in almost any open area that is not too dry. This includes grassy areas, mowed paths, and wetland edges. Striped ground crickets and Allard’s ground crickets are the largest of the small ground crickets. Striped ground crickets are distinctive because of the subtle striped pattern on their head and the females are slightly larger than Allard’s ground cricket females.
