Public Libraries
Many public libraries across Pennsylvania are eager to help connect you with the community through programming or other partnerships. Because there are more than 400 libraries in the Commonwealth, these town centers are an ideal way to disseminate program information, club, and organization news.
Possible programs and partnerships
Some public libraries already partner with their local Extension office. These programs include:
- 4-H volunteers to care for the library’s collection
- Master Gardner programs for youth and adults
Other opportunities exist. A few examples might be:
- Animal or entomology events
- Financial planning workshops
- Nutrition workshops for youth and adults
