Due Diligence

Due diligence still occurs even when you represent the seller. The seller will want to ensure that the purchaser will be good to its customers, that the purchaser has a good reputation, is a company in good standing, etc.

If your seller is motivated to sell quickly, then your due diligence request may be a short one. Many sellers in this position do not want to expend a lot on attorney’s fees and they do not want to risk irritating the potential buyer.
